Jon Reecher was appointed General Manager of The Gasparilla Inn & Club in 2013. Jon had previously served as the Director of Food & Beverage at The Inn since May 2008, and has extensive experience in the resort and hospitality industry. He graduated with honors from the International Culinary and Hospitality Program at Le Cordon Bleu in both London and Paris. Prior to joining The Inn, Jon held several senior positions over a 10-year period at The Greenbrier in White Sulphur Springs, WV, and also served as Director of Food & Beverage at the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, NC. Jon currently sits on the board of The Boca Grande Childcare Center, The Gasparilla Island Conservation and Improvement Association, and The Boca Grande Health Clinic. In 2017, Jon was named President of The Southern Innkeepers Association. Jon, along with his wife, Christina, and their two children, Grant and Ava, loves living in Boca Grande.
